༈ མ་ཧཱ་གུ་རུ་གསོལ་འདེབས། A Terma Revealed by Pema Lingpa ན་མོ་གུ་རུ༔ NAMO GURU སོབ་དཔོན་ཆེན་པོ་པདྨ་འབྱུང་གནས་ལོ་ནུབ་སྲིན་པོའྲི་ཡུལ་དུ་གཤེགས་པའྲི་དུས༔ མང་ཡུལ་གུང་ཐང་ལ་ཐོག་ཏུ་ཡེ་ཤེས་མཚོ་རྒྱལ་གྲིས་ཕྱག་དང་ བསོར་བ་བྱས༔ གུ་རུའྲི་ཞབས་སྲི་བོར་བླངས་ནས་སོན་ལམའདྲི་ལྟར་བཏབ་པ༔ It was when Padmasambhava, the great master, was about to leave Tibet for the southwest and the land of the Rakshasas that, high up on the Gungthang Pass in Mangyul, Yeshe Tsogyal prostrated before him and circumambulated him. Then, touching his feet to the crown of her head, she uttered this prayer of aspiration: མ་ཧཱ་གུ་རུའྲི་བྱྲིན་རླབས་ཀྲིས༔ MAHA GURU’I JIN LAB KYI By the blessings of the Great Master, བདག་ཀང་ཚེ་རབས་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ༔ DAG KYANG TSHE RAB THAM CHAD DU Through all my lifetimes, ཞྲིང་ཁམས་དག་པའྲི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ༔ ZHING KHAM DAG PAY PHO DRANG DU In the palace of the pure land, བླ་མ་འབྲལ་མེད་བསེན་པར་ཤོག༔ LA MA DRAL MED TEN PAR SHOG May I remain close to the Master and never separate. མོས་གུས་ལྟེམས་རྐྱང་མེད་པ་ཡྲིས༔ MO’ GU’ TEM KYANG MED PA YI With unceasing devotion མཉེས་པའྲི་ཞབས་ཏོག་འགྲུབ་པ་དང་༔ NYE PAY ZHAB TOG DRUB PA DANG May I offer pleasing service and དགོངས་པ་ཟབ་མོ་ཐུགས་ཀྲི་བཅུད༔ GONG PA ZAB MO THUG KYI CHUD May I receive the heart essence of his profound realization – བྱྲིན་རླབས་བདུད་རྲིའྲི་ལུང་ཐོབ་ཤོག༔ JIN LAB DUD TSI’I LUNG THOB SHOG The blessing nectar of transmission. སྐུ་གསུང་ཐུགས་ཀྲི་བྱྲིན་རླབས་ཀྲིས༔ KU SUNG THUG KYI JIN LAB KYI Through the blessings of enlightened body, speech and mind, ལུས་ངག་ཡྲིད་གསུམ་སྲིན་པ་དང་༔ LU NGAG YID SUM MIN PA DANG May our body, speech and mind be ripened and ཟབ་མོའྲི་བསེད་རོགས་རྣམ་གཉྲིས་ལ༔ ZAB MO’I KYED DZOG NAM NYI LA In the profound development and completion phases of meditation, དབང་ཐོབ་སྒྲུབ་པ་བྱེད་པར་ཤོག༔ WANG THOB DRUB PA JED PAR SHOG May empowerments be received and carry it out in practice. ལོག་རོག་བདུད་ཀྲི་ཚོགས་རྣམས་དང་༔ LOG TOG DUD KYI TSHOG NAM DANG May all the hosts of maras of wrong views and ནད་གདོན་བར་ཆད་ཞྲི་བ་དང་༔ NAD DON BAR CHAD ZHI WA DANG Illness, harmful influence and obstacles be pacified and འཁོར་དང་ལོངས་སོད་རྒྱས་པ་ཡྲིས༔ KHOR DANG LONG CHOD GYE PA YI Through increasing retinues and enjoyments, བསམ་པ་ཡྲིད་བཞྲིན་འགྲུབ་པར་ཤོག༔ SAM PA YID ZHIN DRUB PAR SHOG May wishes be fulfilled! དུར་ཁོད་རྲི་ཁོད་གངས་ཁོད་སོགས༔ DUR THROD RI THROD GANG THROD SOG In charnel grounds, hermitages, retreats amid the snows, ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པའྲི་གནས་ཉྲིད་དུ༔ PHUN SUM TSHOG PAY NAY NYID DU And other secluded places with all the perfect qualities, ཏྲིང་འཛིན་ཟབ་མོའྲི་དགོངས་བཅུད་ལ༔ TING DZIN ZAB MO’I GONG CHUD LA Let the quintessence of profound samadhi meditation རག་ཏུ་སྒྲུབ་པ་བྱེད་པར་ཤོག༔ TAG TU DRUB PA JED PAR SHOG Be my constant practice. སྒྲུབ་པ་བྱས་པའྲི་འབྲས་བུ་ཡྲིས༔ DRUB PA JEY PAY DREY BU YI Through the fruition of practice, ཕྲིན་ལས་རྣམ་བཞྲི་འགྲུབ་པ་དང་༔ THRIN LAY NAM ZHI DRUB PA DANG May the four enlightened activities be accomplished, ལ་སྲིན་བྲན་དུ་ཁོལ་ནས་ཀང་༔ LHA SRIN DRAN DU KHOL NAY KYANG May worldly gods and demons be bound in servitude སངས་རྒྱས་བསན་པ་བསྲུང་བར་ཤོག༔ SANG GYE TAN PA SRUNG WAR SHOG So as to protect the Buddha’s doctrine. སོན་པས་གསུངས་པའྲི་དམ་ཆོས་རྣམས༔ TON PAY SUNG PAY DAM CHO NAM May the sacred Dharma expounded by the teachers རོལ་མེད་རྒྱུད་ལ་འཆར་བར་ཤོག༔ TSOL MED GYUD LA CHAR WAR SHOG Arise in my mindstream free of mental effort. མཁེན་པ་མཆོག་ལ་མངའ་བརེས་ནས༔ KHYEN PA CHOG LA NGA NYE NAY Having acquired supreme knowledge, རོགས་པ་མཆོག་དང་ལྡན་པར་ཤོག༔ TOG PA CHOG DANG DAN PAR SHOG May I be endowed with supreme realization. བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་ཀྲི་རེན་འབྲེལ་གྲིས༔ JANG CHUB SEM KYI TEN DREL GYI Through the interdependent-arisings of my genuine bodhichitta wish, སེ་འགོ་མ་ལུས་དབང་བསྡུས་ནས༔ KYE DRO MA LU WANG DU NAY May all beings be magnetized. ཐོགས་མེད་ཡྲིད་བཞྲིན་ནོར་བུའྲི་མཐུས༔ THOG MED YID ZHIN NOR BU’I THU’ Through the power of the unobstructed wish-fulfilling jewel, འབྲེལ་ཚད་དོན་དང་ལྡན་པར་ཤོག༔ DREL TSHAD DON DANG DAN PAR SHOG May all connections be meaningful. སངས་རྒྱས་བསན་པ་དར་བའྲི་མཐུས༔ SANG GYE TAN PA DAR WAY THU Through the power of spreading the Buddha’s doctrine, བརྒྱུད་འཛིན་ཆོས་སོན་རྒྱས་པ་དང་༔ GYU DZIN CHO TON GYE PA DANG May the lineage holders and Dharma teachers flourish; འགོ་ཀུན་བདེ་ལ་འཁོད་ནས་ཀང་༔ DRO KUN DE LA KHOD NAY KYANG May all beings live in happiness and ཞྲིང་ཁམས་ཐམས་ཅད་དག་པར་ཤོག༔ ZHING KHAM THAM CHAD DAG PAR SHOG May all realms be purified. བདག་གྲི་ལུས་ངག་ཡྲིད་གསུམ་གྲིས༔ DAG GI LU NGAG YID SUM GYI (Emanations) of my body, speech and mind, གདུལ་བྱ་སོ་སོའྲི་བློ་ཡུལ་དུ༔ DUL JA SO SO’I LO YUL DU In the realms of those to be tamed གང་ལ་གང་འདུལ་སྤྲུལ་པའྲི་སྐུ༔ GANG LA GANG DUL TRUL PAY KU each according to their needs, དཔག་ཏུ་མེད་པར་འབྱུང་བར་ཤོག༔ PHAG TU MED PAR JUNG WAR SHOG May infinite emanations appear! མདོར་ན་འཁོར་འདས་མ་ལུས་ཀུན༔ DOR NA KHOR DAY MA LU KUN In brief, may the whole of samsara and nirvana, གུ་རུ་ཉྲིད་དང་དབྱེར་མེད་ཅྲིང་༔ GU RU NYID DANG YER MED CHING (In the state) inseparable from the Guru, སྐུ་གསུམ་འདུ་འབྲལ་མེད་པ་ཡྲི༔ KU SUM DU DRAL MED PA YI Beyond meeting and parting from the three Kayas, རྣམ་མཁེན་སངས་རྒྱས་མྱུར་ཐོབ་ཤོག༔ NAM KHYEN SANG GYE NYUR THOB SHOG Swiftly attain omniscient Buddhahood. སེམས་ཅན་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་པར་ཤོག༔ SEM CHAN SOL WA DEB PAR SHOG May sentient beings offer prayers, བླ་མས་བྱྲིན་གྲིས་རློབས་པར་ཤོག༔ LA MAY JIN GYI LOB PAR SHOG May Gurus confer blessings, ཡྲི་དམ་དངོས་གྲུབ་སེར་བར་ཤོག༔ YI DAM NGO’ DRUB TER WAR SHOG May Yidam deities bestow siddhis, མཁའ་འགོས་ལུང་བསན་བྱེད་པར་ཤོག༔ KHAN DRO’ LUNG TAN JED PAR SHOG May Dakinis make prophecies, ཆོས་སོང་བར་ཆད་བསལ་བར་ཤོག༔ CHO KYONG BAR CHAD SAL WAR SHOG May Dharma protectors dispel obstacles, སངས་རྒྱས་བསན་པ་དར་ཞྲིང་རྒྱས་པར་ཤོག༔ SANG GYE TAN PA DAR ZHING GYE PAR SHOG May the Buddha’s doctrine spread and grow, སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་བདེ་ཞྲིང་སྲིད་པར་ཤོག༔ SEM CHEN THAM CHAD DE ZHING KYID PAR SHOG May all beings enjoy happiness and well-being, ཉྲིན་དང་མཚན་དུ་ཆོས་ལ་སོད་པར་ཤོག༔ NYIN DANG TSHAN DU CHO LA CHOD PAR SHOG May they engage in Dharma day and night, རང་གཞན་དོན་གཉྲིས་ལྷུན་གྲིས་གྲུབ་པར་ཤོག༔ RANG ZHAN DON NYI LHUN GYI DRUB PAR SHOG May the twofold benefit for self and others be spontaneously accomplished. རང་བཞྲིན་དག་པའྲི་དགེ་བ་འདྲིས༔ RANG ZHIN DAG PAY GE WA DI By this merit, stainless by nature, འཁོར་བ་ངན་སོང་དོང་སྤྲུག་ནས༔ KHOR WA NGAN SONG DONG TRUG NAY May samsara and the lower realms be shaken from its depths སྲིད་མཚོར་སར་ཡང་མྲི་གནས་ཤྲིང་༔ SRID TSHOR LAR YANG MI NAY SHING Thereby, not remaining in this ocean of existence, ཕྱམ་གཅྲིག་སྐུ་གསུམ་མངོན་གྱུར་ཤོག༔ CHAM CHIG KU SUM NGON GYUR SHOG Simultaneously revealing the three Kayas རྒྱལ་བ་ཀུན་གྲི་གསང་ཆེན་མཛོད༔ GYAL WA KUN GYI SANG CHEN DZOD The secret great treasury of all Jinas བླ་མེད་མཆོག་གྲི་བསན་པ་འདྲི༔ LA MED CHOG GI TAN PA DI This supreme, unsurpassed teaching (of Dzogpachenpo), ཇྲི་ལྟར་མཁའ་ལ་ཉྲི་ཤར་བཞྲིན༔ JI TAR KHA LA NYI SHAR ZHIN Like the sun rising in the sky, རྒྱལ་ཁམས་ཡོངས་ལ་དར་རྒྱས་ཤོག༔ GYAL KHAM YONG LA DAR GYE SHOG May it spread and increase throughout the entire world! བདག་གྲི་དགེ་བའྲི་ར་བ་འདྲི་དང་དགེ་བའྲི་ར་བ་གཞན་དག་ཀང་བསེད་ནས༔ DAG GI GE WAY TSA WA DI DANG GE WAY TSA WA ZHAN DAG KYANG KYED NAY By this merit and other roots of virtue generated, དཔལ་ལྡན་བླ་མའྲི་ཐུགས་དགོངས་ཡོངས་སུ་རོགས་པའྲི་ཡོན་ཏན་དང་ལྡན་པར་གྱུར་ཅྲིག༔ PAL DAN LA MAY THUG GONG YONG SU DZOG PAY YON TAN DANG DAN PAR GYUR CHIG May I possess all those complete and perfect qualities of the wisdom-mind of the glorious master, སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྲི་བསན་པ་རྲིན་པོ་ཆེ་དར་ཞྲིང་རྒྱས་པར་བྱེད་པའྲི་སེས་བུ་སོབས་ལྡན་དུ་གྱུར་ཅྲིག༔ SANG GYE KYI TAN PA RIN PO CHE DAR ZHING GYE PAR JED PAY KYE BU TOB DAN DU GYUR CHIG May I become a person who possesses the capability to spread and increase the precious Buddha’s doctrine, མཁེན་པ་དང་བརེ་བ་ནུས་པ་གསུམ་མཐར་ཕྱྲིན་ནས་རོགས་པའྲི་སངས་རྒྱས་སུ་གྱུར་ཅྲིག༔ KHYEN PA DANG TSE WA NU’ PA SUM THAR CHIN NAY DZOG PAY SANG GYE SU GYUR CHIG Having perfected the triad qualities of Omniscience, Compassion and Power, may I attain perfect Buddhahood. འགོ་བ་རྲིགས་དྲུག་ན་གནས་པའྲི་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་འཁོར་བ་སྡུག་བསྔལ་གྲི་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ལས་བསྒྲལ་ཏེ་མྱུར་དུ་མངོན་པར་རོགས་པར་སངས་རྒྱས་ པར་གྱུར་ཅྲིག༔ DRO WA RIG DRUG NA NAY PAY SEM CHAN THAM CHAD KHOR WA DUG NGAL GYI GYA TSO LAY DRAL TE NYUR DU NGON PAR DZOG PAR SANG GYE PAR GYUR CHIG May all sentient beings beings of the six realms be liberated from the samsaric ocean of suffering and swiftly manifest perfect Buddhahood. བདག་འདྲ་པདྨ་གྲིང་པས་ལོ་བྲག་སན་མདོའྲི་བྲག་སེང་གེའྲི་གདོང་པ་ཅན་ནས་གདན་དྲངས་པའོ། ། This was revealed by Pema Lingpa from the rock shaped like a lion’s head in the medicinal valley of Lhodrak. ===== Source: http://padmasambhavagururinpoche.com/yeshe-tsogyals-prayer/
